Overflow chugging. PLEASE HELP!

It may be from your drain line's syphon starting then breaking. If you have a valve on your drain, trying closing it a little. This may help to create a "false syphon" and stop it from breaking. A word of caution doing this, it may lower the water level in your return chamber so keep and eye on it while and we'll after you make adjustments so it's doesn't run dry.

Posting a picture of your overflow setup could possibly help. Is it a durso?

was it making the noise before you moved it? sound like you move this tank. maybe something got moved out of place? and just needs to be readjusted.

or do you need some type of silencer? like maggie muffler?

I think I have it figured out, I believe the return pump was under rated and tired. I added a second pump temporarily and it stopped. Now I'm return pump shopping
