A picture of a durso, and no text to help. My that's eye opening. -_-

Where is the gurgling coming from? Air in the u-tube? The water flowing into the overflow box? Could use a bit more info so we can help you.

I was thinking the same thing about the picture lol and it's coming from the water going down the drain from the box

It's a silencer.. You screw it into the bulkhead at the bottom of the overflow.. It's pretty simple and straight forward.. Piece of pipe. A cap. a T fitting and an elbow.. Drill a hole on the top of the cap, no need for the little air regulator deal.

I had the same Noise problem and put one of these and it worked like a charm.

That's what I was thinking about making but I really don't have a lot of room in my overflow

If that doesn't fit in there you can also cut the elbow down to make the whole thing skinnier as shown in the first confusing picture. OR if that still doesn't fit you can build one like this

You'll have to be creative with finding the appropriate plumbing parts at the store sometimes.

Here is another I've built using a mixture of PVC and sewer plumbing parts

I fixed it I used the round pice of foam they cut out from the fo filter and put it in the PVC tube and now it's silent and I will just have to clean the filter every few days untill I come up with something else lol

Try running a piece of airline hose down it.. move it up or down until you find the sweet spot.. this is what eshoppes recommends, they have a vid about it too.. worked for me. A durso may be quieter but i no longer have the gurgling noise.
