Overflow noise

Hi friends,

I want to ask for their recommendations, my tank using an overflow box by eShops but when the water falls from the overflow box back into the sump makes noise.

Is there any way to fix this to make it quieter. What can you recommend?

and if the water is splashing into the sump, lower the pipe into the water more.
I have the pf800. toss the goofy pipe and set the sponge over the hole just so.

How high should be the silencer?

It is necessary to put up PVC cap?

yes that is their silencer.

if the overflow box is not being loud. dont worry about it.

on mine it slowed the out flow and made big bubbles and burps in the sump.

Are the hoses in the sump under water?

try taking the silencer off and balance the sponge over the hole. the water should help pull it down.
