Overflow Noise

I have spent days trying to figure out why my overflow is so loud. Does anyone have any ideas? It is bean animal style

Is that a valve on the drain? You don't want to restrict the drain, if anything restrict the pump if it's too strong

Valve on the main drain, but not the secondary drain

Yes you do. That's how you make a siphon for a Bean...or a Herbie.

Valve on the main drain, but not the secondary drain

It sounds like too much water is going down the secondary drain. Open up the primary (siphon) drain a bit.

Yeah, too much flow going through tank and too much water going down secondary

So the key is to adjust the main drain so that only a small amount of water goes down the 2ndary correct
