To the 57 and 75 gallon rimless owners, how do you feel about the large overflow box sticking out into the middle of the tank? I'm seriously considering one of these tanks, but the center overflow is pretty large. Is this something that you're getting used to or do you want to switch tanks out?

I know they can be ordered without the overflow box, but I'm not really looking to drill the tank and get the leaks out of a Glass-holes overflow box.

I removed the overflow from thank completely! I did end up drilling into the back so it was pointless for me to get the pre drilled tank but either way I did remove the over flow and then you can still use the holes that are drilled for your plumbing it gives you soooo much more room!

Ive also see people who have removed the over flow and then cut it down so that the over flow took up almost no room at all I think that is the route you might what to look into.

or you can completely remove it and then create your own little overflow around the holes that are already there with glass pieces or acrylic pieces its actually really simple

hope this helps!
