Overflow opinions

I'm planning a 75 g build later this fall, and trying to decide on the overflow. Does anyone use the Exotic Marine overflow w the horizontal weir slots, and have issues w livestock getting into the box ? I really like the notched out box of the modular marine box, but its not a deal breaker

Definitely a different style of weir instead of the vertical bars, just curious if their prone to critters slipping thru. Looks very well made

Probably no more than the vertical slots (and being horizontal it may be harder for fish to enter as they have to turn sideways).
