Been in the hobby for some time but always had hang on equipment or AIO tanks. Now it's time for drilling an overflow but it's a bit new to me and there is so many options. I looked at the Glass holes kits along with others but I kinda been leaning towards the GH. Before I pull the trigger what are some of other options I may want to look at? Keep in mind I'm a keep it simple kind of person. Thanks

Sounds like you got it figured out. Go with what you want. They all do the same thing and as long as you follow directions, you should have no issues. If you wanna spend a little more, go for the ghost.

I had good luck with the new Eshopps Eclipse low profile overflow kits. Much nicer fit/finish than the glass holes and a low profile in-tank box with an external drain box. It also came with a diamond hole saw for the main bulkhead. I bought a drill guide and a 3/4" diamond hole saw for the return bulkheads and had the whole project done in an hour.
