Overflow piping angle

Im drilling 3.. 1” bulkhead in my 75g and wanted to know if it will cause flow problems down to sump if i angle the bulkhead 90 fittings like in pic #2

1 full syphon, 1 open , 1 emergency... its a 75g deep blue rimless and im plug up the bottom drilled holes to get more space.. there overflow box is huge
