Overflow seal and should i replace it?

So the used tank I bought has a few issues with the seal at the base of the overflows. While this will not be visible once the tank is up and running it is bei g cleaned right ow and its a good time to adress items like this.

Attached is a picture of the worse part. It is brown and filthy but its currently running a vinegar bath and i plan on draining it in a few days and then clean this stuff up.

If it's empty and you have the means to replace it, I'd do it. Better safe then sorry.
 
Do they have a kit or is it as simple as removing the old seal and using reef safe silocone to reattach? I assume black is available..
