I have a 180 wanted to do a bean animal set up but not sure what size to make the box inside anyone help don't know if a 6 foot one is over kill or if I leave room on the sides

Generally that's the way Bean Animal Coast to Coast is supposed to be set up, across the back of the tank, so your would be 6'.

How deep n wide u think I should make it

Deep and wide are just to accomidate the pipe you are using, enough to get the bends from the pvc in the box.

Ok what thickness of glass should I use

You should be able to use 1/4" with no problem.
