Last night I noticed my rapid led DIY fixture got very very hot which cause all my white lights to go out. What might have happened and is there a way to make it work? What will I have to replace?

Does your unit have fans? How old are they? Are they spinning or making noise? Check each LED and make sure it's attached to the heat sink all the way.

The unit doesn't have fans which is why it got so hot but I fixed that issue with the blue LEDs. I went through and rewired the whole fixture and made sure all LEDs were secure on heat sink. The unit is about 2 weeks old. Will overheating cause the bulbs to burn out?

It can of they don't shut off in time. It's not good regardless. I would get a fan on it.

im almost thinking if one connection came undone because it got so hot it would break teh chain and stop the lights from working...

I was thinking the same thing but I went back and resoldered everything. Would it have been possible to damage the driver from overheating?

the diode could heva burnt out and came loose and that would stop it from working too (kinda like old Christmas lights) but im no LED expert... i dont think the driver would burn out and die like that

Check the output on your Driver, find out what its putting out, it may be mis-adjusted. You can also throw fans into the canopy or onto the unit itself.

I would disconnect all the LEDs that are in that line and test them one at a time. I bet you have one that's causing the issue.

Yah test the LEDs with an led tester to see if you did indeed burn them out. The driver should be fine.
