Alk has been between 8.5 and 9.2. So no significant swings. Ca has been very consistent at 469.
If there was a swing it would be a drop in phosphates. It registered low, but I had algae and I’m sure it was feeding on phosphates, thus keeping low measurements. Ran GFO and killed algae. So I’m sure it zapped the phosphates, reducing them. I have a very low nutrient tank.
Also running Waste Away at half dose once a week to help manage a clean substrate.
I Think the algae is feeding on dead tissue. Found a section of my birds nest with algae on it. Blew it off with my baster and it blew off the tissue very easily exposing the Skelton.
