Overnight critter explosion

A couple days ago I didn’t see any of these. Now, they are everywhere. What are they?

Amphipods
They come in on rocks, sand, and corals. They have been there all along, and just started to come out. There are a lot of them.
What’s good is that they are completely harmless and actually great algae eaters and detritivores, and are a favorite food for many fish and inverts.
 
They look like some sort of amphipod but I'm not a pod expert. I'm sure more knowledgeable folks will chime in. I always find it amazing how these types of creatures explode in people's aquariums seemingly overnight.
 
I did notice a few of a smaller version of these on some corals but then suddenly this bigger sized ones are in crazy number. The shot is just one part of many spots that have a ton.

These aren't munnid isopods but about halfway through video a little pod ( spider looking/ acting) comes out,I love watching all little bugs when lights out ha ha
