Overnight dead Long Tentacle Anenomy

So i woke up this morning and my week old LTA was a quarter of size... And not just shriveled but falling apart. I don't get it. Last night looked great...

If anyone can shed a bit of light on situation. Please do.

Also i removed but wasn't to know what to do about possible spike in ammonia due to small fragments shedding off overnight.

Water parameters may be helpful.There's probably not a lot you can do about the tiny bits, but if you have a good cleanup crew they should take care of that for you.

It does, yeah. I lost a bunch of BTAs in some smaller tanks a while back and never did figure out what caused the die-off (could've been water parameters, lighting, flow, etc.)
