Overnight Shipping Delays

Sorry if somebody else posted this already but I just wanted to give a heads up that I'm now 0 for 2 overnight shipments of livestock making it overnight from the West Coast to the East Coast. I'm hopeful that the CUC I ordered "might" make it but I think the issues with COVID-19 just handed a death sentence to the royal gramma and toadstool coral I ordered. Anybody else seeing delays like this?

I’ve seen a few people pop up with complaints so it’s not just you i’m pretty sure it’s low staffing and extra busy because of....well you know

Depending on who packed it and the time of year, one extra day isn't necessarily a death sentence. Two extra days are. Less flights and more volume means service problems unfortunately.

Both shipped from Live Aquaria. As a pilot and former UPS employee I can appreciate what they are going through, but why accept overnight packages if you can't guarantee the delivery? I'm now 2 days on 1 order and ending the second day on another that had a fish. I guarantee that Dottyback is DOA. First world problem, I know.

My last two shipments was delayed by few hours and not by a day, so everything came alright. I am expecting another one tomorrow and hoping It’ll be in my doorstep before the sun goes down.

I had it happen before with fedex and about $1,000 in SPS corals. It arrived 3 days later instead of overnight. About half or a little more survived the delay.

You might be surprised how tough some of these things are.

No sooner than I was complaining the truck pulled up with my 2 boxes. The arrow crab and snails seem okay! The royal gramma wasn't looking very happy but took off into the rock work so fingers crossed!
