I bought a heater meant for a 250 gallon tank for my 90 gallon tank will it be okay?
I need a response now

Yup, you should be fine. I would recommend getting an electronic temp controller to hook it upto as a fail safe in case it gets stuck on for some reason. The ETC kicks the heater on and off within the set ranges.

Okay thank you this is on my freshwater tank but I guess it still applies I mean heaters are heaters but I also have a fish that flipped out and might be dying because it hit the glass hard 3 times and sunk slowly and couldnt swim so I am going crazy trying to fix everything and see if the fish is okay

Yes. It will warm tank faster and work less prolonging its lifespan for use. If you go to a larger tank as many of us do, one less item to purchase.
