Aren’t there some advantages to an oversized protein skimmer?

they'll process more water per hour and provide better gas exchange.

But if they are NOT sized Correctly Not enough organics in water my experience will not EFFECTIVELY Skim. Go moderate size and question what Manufacturers state about so called Adequate Size, Do Research ,KNowlege IS THE KEY, Fish load ,Organics ETC. Good Luck!
