I just swapped out my RO membrane for the first time and after removing the old one I realized I had gotten the wrong size replacement. The old one is a 50gpd unit, and the new one is 150gpd, but both physically fit in the housing the same. Is there any issue with me using the 150gpd unit? Would it affect efficiency or waste water ratio?

Yes there is an issue actually! You would need the correct flow restrictor for the correct RO membrane. If not then it will not remove the necessary elements from the water. Hope this helps!
