OverSkimming for Brown Algae.

I had a Brown Filament Algae Outbreak on my Mature Tank, couldn't figure out the cause. After a water change, I mistakenly overfilled. I decided to just let the skimmer pick it up. Algae started to recede, a few days later. So I just kept adding Saltwater, checking the Salinity, for adding RO/DI. It is working. BTW, I did not adjust my Life Reef skimmer, just raised the water level in my sump. Also I‘ve done water changes in the past for this algae, with no result.

Interesting that Steve, any tank pictures, it sounds like something worked
