Overwhelming fear

Does any one else get an overwhelming fear of there tank busting after moving it? Tanks been set up for a year, moved to our new house, and I have a fear of it bursting while I’m gone.. lol

Tanks been up since Tuesday, no leaks or water on the floor lol I just need to get a hurry on the new tank!

There’s a medical term for that: reefphobia-an irrational fear that ones tank will explode in the middle of the night. No cure available.

Only tank that has failed me in 35+years was an acrylic tank, seam failed and tank burst. Since then I've only had glass tanks and weather moved or not have never had a failure in a glass tank.

I had a large tank burst on my b day...i was at work. Luckily someone was home and got a hold of a reef friend down the road.

lol that is a constant fear all the time but it always seems to be fine.

You should not worry. It’s a very low risk especially if you treated with care in the move.
