Getting really tired of the dessicant dryer that I need to use on my Ozonator. Is there another alternative that I have not been able to find yet? Does anyone know of a small electric type or an ozonator that does not require a dryer at all??

All ozonizers benefit from a dryer. What is it that's driving you nuts? If you have to change it too frequently you could try drawing your air from a drier enviornment. If your air pump is in your humid fish room, try putting it somewhere else. Or you could use a larger drier.

Yep, manual recharging of the beads is a PITA. The alternatives are pricey though, and not without their own problems to overcome.

The least expensive auto recharging system I have seen to date is the IQ20 from OzoTech. Nice unit, but the problem with it, and others like it, is that they are designed to be run in negative pressure applications. Leaves those of us running needle wheel skimmers or ozone reactors with no option but to purchase a vacuum pump in order to use the unit.

Another option to explore is to oversize your ozone generation to compensate for the loss of efficiency you encounter from relative humidity.

Funny thing... After a few cups of coffee I thought about moving the pump out from under the sump & into a drier area! I recharged my desicant & will see if it lasts longer than 24 hrs now...

24 hours!! Holy smokes, something is goofy. I have mine in my equipment room which is about 50% humidity, and around 80% when the wife is doing laundry. I have the small cylindrical drier that holds about a cup of beads and I get 6-8 weeks out of a charge. Do you have an oversided air pump driving your ozonizer?

Nope just a Coralife Luft pump... After removing the pump from under the stand it seems that it will last a little longer now...
What type of ozonator & pump do you use??

I had a custom air drier made that holds 5lbs of beads (because I was in the same 24hr position you are in). I have 15lbs of media for quick changes.
