Thought I would start this thread. Who is running it? How are you running it? How often dosing? Please be specific. I am experimenting with some new things and want to hear from you.
I have a 180 SPS with a 40 G sump and 40 G Frag tank. I have a pretty high bio load in terms of the fish I keep and thought it would help oxidize the waste a little faster/better, and keep the fish healthier (i.e. Ich, pop eye, etc). I run ozone strictly in my skimmer. I have a Royal Alpha Exclusiv 250 that has an ozone port on the intake pump. I have a bag of carbon floating right at the skimmer's exaust, and on the vents at the top of the skimmer cup cover, and I set my RKE to shut off the Ozone Generator at 420, but I am thinking of either lowering that figure, or cranking the figure up higher, but only running it for a 4-8 hour time period.
I also run bio pellets and dose MB7/Microbe Lift Special, but kill the ozone and UV for 2 days after I dose.
