Anyone else run ozone? What's your schedule for replacing kynar check valves? I'm at about 5 months no issues. I think Avast Marine recommends every month. Just seems a little excessive to me. Anyone know what the manufacturer recommends?

I did that, but don't you still need the check valves before the reactor to guarantee the one way travel of air and ozone?
Even though my set up is above the sump, I would get back siphoning of water past my Dwyer Air Meter when the flow of water is turned off for maintenance or when the Luft pump was dodgy. I replaced the Luft pump with something better. (It's plumbed to a manifold that is also below the reactors.) So, I find the check valves helpful and use them. When I used ozone I never used a check valve. As suggested, the pump and ozone generator were above water level and there's no concern about backward travel of air. What is the concern?
FWIW. I am using a reactor for ozone and a post reactor with carbon. I believe the check valves are beneficial.
Looking for those that use kynar check valves. How often do you swap them out????
What are you using for the controller?
I never used one so can't help answer that question.
