Ozone ultralife / uv bulb

I wanted to check and see if anyone else has had experience with the ultra life ozone. I’ve had my for about 6 months and it’s worked flawlessly but it quit on my today. I opened it up and saw this.

I’ve never seen a catastrophic failure on a Uv bulb ever. I’ve been them burn out but not like this. Looks like it was so hot that it burnt the pvc shield. I think it’s still in working order. Have not ordered a new bulb yet since I was concerned.

Looks like the bulb was on without adequate flow to cool it and over heated.

I have a air pump pushing air through it and it’s been doing this for 6 months. So you are saying I just need a stronger air pump?
