For those that use ozone in their setups, do you run carbon on the effluent of your reactor device??
Yes or no and if not do you have any ill effects whatsoever??

I ran it on a tank for about 10 years back in the 80’ and 90’s.. I used a 5’ tall air driven skimmer as a reactor didn’t run effluent through carbon but did have a carbon post filter on air outlet to help prevent Ozone from getting into room air and ran a air dryer pre ozone unit.. super clear water but unsure of any other benefits

Surprised more people have not chimed in on this. The crystal clear water that O3 can produce is amazing, shocking more don't employ it.

I use it 24x7 connected to skimmer air inlet without carbon for several years and never had any issue. Once in awhile I notice some smell, but it’s only after wc and attributed that to the skimmer being low. Some dosing tubes get hard, but most of it are made out of silicone and those are ok.
The ozone It’s great, surely destroys dissolved organics and makes tank water pristine clear.
