I posted my issue on desiese and treatment, but was advised to ask here.

Long story short, I have Ozone, in-sump 24W UV GKM and am going to start dosing 3% H2O2 to prophylacticly treat an unknown disease and want to continually dose very small amounts indefinitely to control algae and ich.

I understand UV keeps H2O2 active longer, but I rember reading that ozone reacting with H2O2 makes a very agressive molecule. (Trioxidane?)

Has anyone dosed peroxide and run Ozone at the same time?

Thanks!

So you are doing ozone, h2o2 and UV!
You can read about these sorts of combos as Advanced Oxidation Processes (google scholar link for a flavor of what some people are using this combo to break down. No idea if it's harmful to typical reef flora and fauna, but you should have the least-yellow water in all of reefing.

"I understand UV keeps H2O2 active longer"

Where did you see that?

While UV may break down organics and that may (or may not) allow hydrogen peroxide to remain longer, UV itself will greatly accelerate the breakdown of hydrogen peroxide.

I read it from humblefish.

However doing my own research leads me to two possibilities.

UV instantly breaks the O2 bond and becomes water and a free oxygen, or it becomes a hydroxyl radical.

I DO notice a decrease in skimmer foam immediately after adding Hydrogen peroxide, change in surface tension or possible breakdown of protein in the water?

Oh yeah, water comes out as blue as it went in, unfortunately I have some issues with precipitation because this batch of IO crystals has 500-550 PPM of calcium for a 1.025 SG mix.

IF YOU HAD TO TAKE A REEFING EXAM, WOULD YOU PASS?
