So how much ozone should I addd to my tank I bought a cheap generator on Amazon and I think it’s to much I have not hooked it up yet but I was wondering how much per hr should be added to the water. And can I add it through my co2 scrubber. I have an mrc skimmer with a 4.4lb icecap scrubber hooked up to bolth sides. I can limit the ozone if needed but yeh . Just looking for advice Tnx 200 gallon system total volume

The trouble with dosing ozone is that there are many variables that control the dose:

Ozone generator output
Humidity of the feed air (too humid and it makes nitric acid)
Contact time
Tank size
Amount of bromine present (can form toxic hypobromous acid)
Amount of organics present (and this changes over time, as ozone reduces this)

What I generally do is run the ozone through a protein skimmer, gradually increasing the dose until I see ozone oxidants in the skimmer effluent (I use a simple DPD chlorine test for that - any pink color and there are free oxidants). Then, I back the ozone off a bit and monitor.

I've never tried adding it through a CO2 scrubber.....

With that type of generator you will need a new one every 3-6 months. Been there and done that.

Running ozone is difficult. You really need to educate yourself fully and then understand you need a different level of equipment above what is sold for kitchens or even aquariums for the amount of use the equipment gets.
A controller is a must. Yes you can stick ozone in the tank without one but you are fully guessing as to how much and what it is doing.

There are posts that answer your question on the net. You should find the answer yourself. Read all the hits you get looking for it.
It isn't like dosing some chemical. It's more like setting up a complicated calcium reactor to make a working system that lives for years and can harm you or your tank if you don't get it right.

Answering these simple questions is like telling someone how to strike a match to light a fuse on something they found but aren't sure even what it is. It might go bang or maybe blow up your whole house.

I don't know what is being referred to there, but soda lime cannot burn, with or without ozone.

Yeh this would be hooked up to my energy bar I already took it apart removed timers and hardwired it to run when I plug it in I have an ozone sensor in the room hooked up to an switch which is plugged into my energy bar for 2 safety measures. I was just curious I’m probly going to get a masive amount of carbon and just run that instead I’m just trying to get the orp up mine gets to like 190-240 and I would rather get to 375-450

Me neither, really. Post number 11 (below) talked about some application?
Well, if you run the Skimmer air exhaust, saturated with Ozone and scrub it through a Soda Lime media then the Ozone is being let me say neutralized.
Means no Ozone afterwards that could be used after the Soda Lime.
There are methods and installations in industrial and military installations where Soda lime is being used to protect the environment from Ozone leaks as an emergency backup.
However it has apparently led to self ignited fires, when Ozone was supplied into Soda Lime in industrial applications.
So if you ask me, I would not run Ozone through a Soda Lime scrubber!
I only have a practical application knowledge of toxicological chemistry, and that's getting fuzzy.

i go the old fashioned route and measure orp. In general on my system 300 mg/hr is enough on my 300 gallon display/200 sump water volume setup. it runs 24/7. If yours really has 600 output might scale it back or set a timer

Yes, I saw that but do not know what was burning.

I have a 200 gal reef tank and I ran it with ozonizer that has 28mg/hr output. I used a controller to turn it on every 4 hrs and run for 5 mins. My ORP is very stable and hover around 400. You have to experiment with the dosing to finger out what work with your tank.
