I started dosing Potassium Nitrate to bump the NO3 level and it it showing <1. I plan to increase the dosing but I also checked the Potassium and it is showing 450. This is the first time I've checked P as I just got a new test kit. My question is I think the Potassium Nitrate is elevating the P levels and I want to be sure I don't overdo that in my effort to increase NO3. What is the top safe level of Potassium?

Hey there

Potassium should be around 410-420 + or - a few mg/l. Getting Potassium too high can cause issues, but you can do a water change to lower it. Althoug a water change will also lower your NO3.

You could switch to NaNO3 which would avoid raising your Potassium.

Just FYI potassium is "K" on the periodic table of elements "P" is phosphorus.
