as to compete other like unwanted algea I spread the grass coral on purpose onto each rock, but after a few weeks I find that it grows too quick, will it overcompete everythingelse? shall I remove some of them or all? any opinion is welcome!

You don't want green star polyps on your main rockwork. Isolated on an island is fine. I would smother it with epoxy.

is there any guide how to apply epoxy, have no idea

JB Waterweld is the very same thing, available at any HD/Lowes, and about 1/2 the price. I have used I don't even know how much over the years for mounting corals and supporting rockwork.
