pacsun or ATI sizing help

Good Afternoon guys,

I was wondering what kind of fixture would best suit my tank.

I am setting up a 84" x 30 " x 24" tall acropora dominated tank and I was wondering whether I'd need an 8 x 80w or 10 x 80w fixture in either the ATI powermodule (or Sunpower) or the Pacific Sun Diuna fixture.

any thoughts are welcome!!

A tank 84X30X24 tall will do absolutely great with a 10 bulb T5 only fixture!!!

I'm not sure how wide is the 10 bulb ATI, but I know the 8 bulb is only 17.5 wide.
The 10 bulbs should be ~21.5" (?) wide.

Now you got me!
I know ATI is the greatest T5 fixture I've had, but the Pacific Sun Diurna looks totally amazing too, but unfortunately I didn't have experience with that fixture yet.
Any links of where are you would buy the Diurna from?

Where are you located?

Thanks for the advice!! I'll be looking to get my mits on the 10 bulb fixture!!
I'm based in Australia, I've heard of Diunas being distributed here, I'll also try supplementing WITH kessils A360WEs for the ramp up/down and shimmer effect when the t5's aren't on.

Either fixture looks great and I feel that LEDs have a hard time competing with the coverage of T5s

The Diurna looks very nice and has what I like the most with the ATI fixtures: the spot cooling.
BUT the Diurna also has wireless control via PC or Mac of each pair of t5 bulbs...
Also has moon lights and 4 different channels.
Maybe the 10 bulb fixture has 5 different channels (?)
Do you have the money?
I would get the Diurna!

I'll be looking at getting the diuna mid next year. I was really drawn on the 2 bulb channel and wifi as it makes life easy!!

I have same size tank, I used the 8x80w Diuna no problem when I had T5...its a great light

Im in Australia too and support locally is awesome.

Thanks....tank is not like that anymore. Crashed hard so all new scape, running Radion G4 Pro now too. PacSun is under my bed, any Q's on the light let me know - it is very nice, can turn on bulbs in sets of 2, wireless...very nice....so is the new ATI Hybrid though

From memory 4 blues, 3 whites and a purple. All KZ bulbs.

We had room for improvement with the T5 fixture and Pacific Sun just filled up a great part of that room!!

"The integrated intelligent computer makes it possible to simulate natural sunset and sunrise, moonlight according to the lunar calendar (all transitory phases, from new moon to full moon), simulate overcast conditions, as well as fine-tune the lighting - its temperature and brightness - by means of the integrated software that simulates the seasons of the year.
What is more - the user is able to access other advanced features of the light control, such as changing the color temperature (in the 13,000 - 23,000K range), altering light intensity according to a curve (PAR Activity), and controlling the lamp's cooling system. You're welcome. I think it is definitly an interesting concept and looks nice as well. If I didnt have these leds already and I wanted a pure t5 fixture I definitly would consider purchasing this haha. T5 looks nicer to me
