Hey all. Whats everyones thoughts on padding the under side of a braced tank. ( Rimless tanks are a given) Im in the process of doing a 40 breeder build that will have about 60 pounds of rock resting on the bottom payne. I never padded a braced tank before and never had any problems but wanted to get some opinions.

From my understanding it is not necessary or recommended. Those tanks are designed to sit on the rim and padding the bottom can cause pressure points on the bottom pane. I would place the trim on a level surface and call it a day.
