My pagoda has been opening less and less.

As per forum users I have been moving it every week trying to find perfect spot.

Today I noticed what looks like an injury.

I dont know if I scratched it while moving.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

Parameters:
Salinity 1.026 Milwalkee
Temp 78.9
PO4 .25 Hanna checker
NO3 0 Red Sea
Ca 500 API
Alk 92ppm 5.1dkh Hanna checker

Is it possible I scratched it on the rocks moving?
If so what can I do if anything?
Side note Alk has been low so I did a water change 4 days ago, tested just now still low!
Frag tank (with 2 coral frags in it) registered 124ppm or 6.9
new salt water (Reef crystals) mixing for 3 days registered 153ppm or 8.5.......doesnt seem right to me.

The alkalinity is way too low. Either proceed with water changes or try some 2 part, or baking soda (review process for using baking soda first), and increase the dkh slowly to 7-10. If this is a smaller tank I would do water changes. Let the Ca drift down to 350-450. You'll need to check magnesium eventually but water changes should help to straighten out the chemistry ratios. LPS and SPS can not tolerate that low of an alkalinity value.

right now I only have a hanna checker and it may be off. I dont have the standards to test accuracy. Just tested again and alk is 88ppm(4.92dkh)...but then tested new reef crystals mixing with RO water for 36 hours and am getting 143ppm(8.008) that leads me to believe tester or reagent is off.....any thoughts?

I no longer use a Hanna checker, I used them for years and loved it but I have gotten more than one bad batch of reagents, with a current date, not expired.

I use Salfert and RedSea to test.

If you want to save the LPS you need to bring up that value if it's correct. Proceed with water changes.

Changed water....added ESV part 1.....alk 7.0....still think that is skewed top low side.
Waiting for new test kit from BRS.
Pagoda looking terrible.....any other suggestions....maybe move to quarantine
