paint my tank white or black

So I am building a large plywood frag tank that will be all SPS, should I paint this white or black? This will be the color for the complete inside and outside.

I am wondering if there is a reason to choose one or the other?

I would say black, white might need more upkeep to make it look clean

Black adds depth visually, white adds brightness, and blue gives it the overlooking a ledge look in the ocean. Not sure if this answers your question but it’s the main difference between the three main color uses in saltwater tanks.

My main concern is if one attracts less algae etc

Black will certainly show less algae. White is reflective and may grow algae because of this but it may also reflect more light back at the corals.

Having cleaned white tanks I would go black. Way easier to clean.
