What type of paint are you guys/girls using to paint the back of your tank instead of the background film

Thanks for the info... Only other question I have is it doesn't say anything about prep work... Do you have to use a light sand paper an rough up the back glass or just tape it off an spray

I have never sanded the glass before painting. I just clean the glass very well, tape it off and paint. I haven't had any issues this way. I usually use a flat black spray paint.

I use the cheap craft paint with a sponge roller. It comes in a little bottle for a couple dollars. No prep work except cleaning with windex first.

I have used spray paint and a standard roll on latex before, both have worked fine.. spray is a the easier route if the tank isn't wet yet..

Well thank y'all for the input... The tank is brand new so no water hit it yet

Yeah, spray paint, don't rough it. Just keep putting on layers until you get good coverage. It'll look like crap from the back (runs and ridges and what not) but from the front it will look perfect.
