Might buy this secondhand tank but the overflow box is blue and back wall just hoping it’s only the overflow. Is there any paint that could be used inside a tank?

Krylon Fusion has been used with good success.

Even the Krylon stuff will chip off...i have it on a return pipe. Plus, you may want to scrape the back glass... which will definitely chip off the paint if painting on the inside.

You can always take out the blue overflow and replace it.

Picture would help. Overflow probably just skinned with blue acrylic.

This is what I am referring too

Paint doesnt really bond well to glass, good new razor blade and should come off in sheets. Maybe its that blue tank plastic wallpaper, and will just peel off. That’s acrylic isnt it? maybe skip the razor.

Haven’t seen it looks acrylic to me but told it’s Glass well I hope
