How did you paint the skimmer parts? What Brand did you used for the parts that go on the water ? Kylon ??

Krylon Fusion has been discontinued. You can still find it however I use rustoleum 2X the paint on my overflows and have used it in many tanks and it honestly paints better and holds up better than Krylon Fusion. Most spray paints are safe to use in the tank after it cures.

Is there a safe paint I can use on my stand while fish are still in the tank?

Looking good folks, I have used spray paint to paint plastic vents outside on the new house. It stated designed for plastics, Been 10 years and looks the same but more important NO chipping or peeling and in fact it looks to have Fused or blended with the plastic. I guess look for one specific for plastic

I used colored pvc, but painted everything to match with Kylon & rustoleum. Even the vertex & vectra parts in sump.

That purple looks sharp man. I was originally going to go purple, but I was having a custom sump made for my 380g and the purple in the picture he had I wasn’t fond of, so changed course and went grey/black/neon green sump. So am planning to buy black PVC and all my joints will be painted fluorescent green that glows under a black light to match the fluorescent glowing green in the sump. Anyway, your purple pipe is really nice looking and clean with the white
