pair of clowns both the same size?

I have 2 black clowns that have been sharing a nem together ever since I got them both. I purchased them both at the same time. They have grown up together and are about 2 years old. They are both pretty much the same size so I have been wondering if I they are a pair. I have been under the impression that usually the female is quite a bit larger then the male. would 2 females share the bta as a pair?

If they have been living together for 2 years and they are sharing the same nem then they are a pair.

Did you guy them as babies ?

yes I bought them from a local hobbiest that breeds them. They were smaller and hadnt turned full black yet.
