If I get a M/F pair of Exquisite Fairy's is the female apt to change to male? I know flashers tend to change even if a male is present. I want the male to retain its color so am considering a female also. Also, I have a couple flashers, Lubbocks, Orange Back, Melanurus, and a Yellow Chrysus. Any compatibility issues with those tank mates. Thanks.

The exquisite is compatible with the wrasses you already have, just use a social acclimation box.

Cirrhilabrus species are very likely to transition into males, even in the presence of another male. Once that happens, one will relentlessly chase the other, usually leading to the death of one.

An exquisite wrasse will maintain it's colors without the presence of a female if it is kept with other flashers or fairies.

I would recommend against getting a pr.

Yup.

If all you're after is keeping the coloration of the male up, the other wrasses in your tank will achieve that.

Stick with just a single.
