I got a pair of these guys month and half go went through flukes and ich both doing great eating good clams and blood worms along with mussels
My concern is the will only eat the mussels and clams off the
shell. They or in qt should I wait until the eat a bigger varity of foods sych as mysis and krill or should I move them into my main tank and continue
My current feeding.

I would get them eating a larger variety of foods. They should be eating aggressively from the water column. Try fresh shrimp and scallops from the grocery store.

I had six of these that ate fresh shrimp, scallops, clam, mussels, Frozen formula 1 and 2 and mysis. Everything was frozen and then cut up as needed.

They eat red worms from the water colony nip at mysis I will try scallops also

keep them in QT until they are eating Mysis or wide variety of food...take the eaten clam shell and reuse it...take some Mysis shrimp and thawed clam, re-freeze it and the next day thaw it out and drop in tank...once the eat the clam they will eat the Mysis and not even know it....wean it off clam to strictly Mysis...this might take a week or two, then move to main tank.

That's good to hear..............they're voracious eaters once past the acclimation hurdle. They should be eating as aggressively as a tangs.

The one concern I see is the one in front looks like his forehead area is pinched in at bit......that's not good, but is fixable. Just keep feeding them heavy 3-4 times a day. The meaty seafood is what will put on the weight........ scallops, shrimp, clams. Their bodies should be thick and oval shaped over time too. I'd keep them in QT longer.

Hopefully it's just the picture and the area above the eyes isn't pinched in as much as it looks.

It is pinched in but getting better that one was the last one to start eating
