Pair of yellow kuda seahorses mating

Hi I have a pair of yellow kuda seahorses for a few months and it’s looking like they are going to be having babies . I have read that that the fry will only eat pods. I have a tank setup for them. Just looking for some help? Any tips or input would be appreciated!!! Thanks

Kuda fry may or may not take BBS from birth. It will depend on the exact Kuda species on whether the fry will be big enough. First foods would be copepods in the event they are the smaller fry.

We've managed to raise a couple of batched of H. kude using newly hatched artemia only. But the batches were very
varying in size, and some batches seemed like they weren't meant to be. So don't be too sad if this first batch doesn't survive. They fry will get better and stronger when the parantes getting older. You might also get better result if you work on the diet for the parents. Feeding them live mysis or other shrimps might get you larger or better developed fry.
