Pairing Clownfish!

Hi ladies and gents I have a quick question. If I pair clownfish will they be more aggressive towards other tank mates especially if they spawn? will it be enough to kill other fish? IS a 45 gallon big enough for a pair of clowns (Lightning maroons) and 2 other fish or should I keep it to 3 fish total?
Or should I completely avoid pairing and just buy another fish like blenny or cardinal.

I personally believe that it might be ok as long as the have hiding places or a qt ready in case of a problem. Again my opinion only. worth those $0.02 .what other fish do you want? that might matter as well

I just have the lightning and a 6 line wrasse but if I pair it I was going to check out some bennies. So 4 fish all together...
