have a friend moving across country, just like i am, but hes flying and cant take his clown so i took him. i am wondering if the clown he gave me (midnight ocellaris) could go with my current clown whos single and ready to mingle (snowflake ocellaris) and if they would pair off? would the babys be either midnight/snowflakes or would each baby be a mix of both morphs in one?

You shouldn't have any problems with two ocellaris as long as they both haven't transitioned into being females.

they are both around a inch and a half, small little guys i think they are close to becoming females in the coming months but dont think they are there yet. will monitor closely luckily i have plenty of 10 gallons to hold clowns that size to grow out and can always seperate and buy there respective morphs to pair them with if it doesnt work. thanks for advice man.

I mixed a mocha with a classic orange ocellaris.
They spent a couple days at the store looking at each other through glass. They fought like crazy for 10 seconds when I put them in the tank, the orange one won the battle and started outgrowing the mocha. They are all paired off now and into adulthood
TLDR: yes, it can easily be done.
