Pairing Vortech mp10 pumps

Does anyone know if the older mp10 EcoSmart Wireless pumps will pair with the newer mp10 QD wireless pumps? What if you have the moblius feature on the mp10 QD will it pair with the older EcoSmart pump. To use the moblius feature does just the master need the moblius feature to control the slave pump when paired?
