i have always kept Fish in pairs and small groups. I really prefer this to single specimens.

I recently had to downsize to a Red Sea reefer 170, 34 gallon display. The only fish I kept here my ocellaris clownfish pair and pajama cardinal pair.

What do you recommend?

Thanks!

Springer damsels are peaceful and lots of motion in a tank.

I just got one and love it. Easily the most active fish I have so far and not timid at all unlike my other fish. Very bold personality as well as color.

Thansk! I do like Springer Damsels. I actually think azure damsels (hemicyanea) are my favorite. A pair or trio would be nice. I am a sucker for cheap, hardy, colorful fish.

Other ideas?

I have 3 Chalk basslets and enjoy them . Unfortunately they are in 58 gallon tank....
34 gallons? I would definitely put few Barnacle Blennys or Few different Gobys.

Royal grammas.

A favorite of mine. I had a trio in a larger tank. I was concerned a 34 gal was too small for multiples.

I had 3 chalks in a 60. Really cool and under-appreciated Fish.
