pajama fish has eggs in mouth

one of my pajama fish has eggs in its mouth and i was wondering what to do.. do i leave him in the tankor put him in my sump? he has not been eating at all
in the tank i have
2 clarkis
4 chromis
one bobby miller blenny
and tail spot blenny
54 gallon reef tank
lps and softies only

Most LFS will give you store credit also.

The fry will most likely be eaten or caught in filter/pumps if left in the display.

You can try to raise them, but it will take great effort.

Don't be sad about it. It's a victory that your fish are healthy enough to reproduce.

My PJs have never bred, but my bangaii do it all the time. I think either my PJs are all one gender or are too old to breed. While he is carrying eggs/fry, the males will not eat. I would assume the PJ fry would emerge fully formed (like Bangaii). Not easy to raise, but also not herculean efforts either as the fry are big enough to eat prepared foods. Occasionally I find a 1/2" Bangaii in my sump thriving without me having directly fed it.

I would try and get her out od the main. Sump i think would be best unless u use the water from main tank in a qt size tank just for hatching and raising.

Did u see the link i posted?? Pajamas dont release full bodied fry as the cardinals do.. they will be in a platonic state . You really would need a dedicated tank to rear them. I dont think just the sump will be enough.
