Hi all,

Picking up a Pakastani Butterfly tomorrow from local person. I've never had one before and I'm looking for suggestions of any kind (food,QT,Copper Sensitive etc). The guy says he eats "gel" whatever that means. All my fish (tangs) eat NLS and OT pellets...so...

Mixed reef, soft and hard corals...

thanks

Pakistani butterfies are a more delicate species. Gel foods can come frozen, ocean nutrition has a few, and they stick to the glass. It's good for a grazer. Though clams or mussels on the half shell will work too.

I would be wary of adding such a calm fish to a tank w/ established tangs. Tangs often behave aggressively toward other laterally compressed fish. So definitely use an acclimation box to introduce.

I haven't noticed too much of a sensitivity with meds, however if using copper I would gradually increase it.
