I am purposly not posting parameters. Are these coral pale or brown. I thought they were brown but now i am not so sure

The colors just look washed out IMO. They're not brown, but they could definitely be much brighter.

The spongeodes (if thats what they are) have polyps wayyy darker than mine. Mine are a very light brown/pinkish color

So here are my parameters
Nitrate - 1 salfert
Phosphate 0-.02 Hanna ULP
CA 420 Hanna
Mg 1300 Red Sea
Alk 9.18 Hanna
Alk 8 98 Red Sea

I am running a fuge with Chaeto and I also have some minimal GHA in tank. My numbers suggest the tank is nutrient starved. But the fact that there is GHA shows there are extra nutrients. Right??? So I am not sure if the corals are browned or just pale from starvation

The third pic? The polyps were dark blue almost black when the colony was healthy. If you zoom in you can see areas where there is some blue remaining. Those polyps look brown to me.

That's interesting. Mine look like this currently

Of course they are different in person and like I said a bit more pinkish and lighter

Also I would try and lower your alk a bit. I am by no means an expert but with low nutrients 9 is usually a little too high. I would and shoot for 8-8.5 if possible :)
