Palmer's Blue Mille

Mike Palmer on RC...go to reefready.net's website or atlantis aquarium or if you want to search far enough back there's a thread in the SPS forum by mike called "blue mille" and it's got pics. It's quite possibly the bluest coral I've ever seen.

I agree with Chelsey, I have been eyeing this piece for a long time. I really want a piece of it. But cannot stomach to pay $90 for a milli.

wow That thing is so blue it looks like one of the plastic corals you see on ebay.

im betting thats shopped..
See how washed out the coralline is.. Look at the real DEEP blue areas.. no polyps or corallites visible.. like it was painted in... I dont believe it..

If you look at the RC thread it shows what lighting he uses as well as different pics of the coral under different lighting. Also, atlantis aquarium has it on their site under different lighting than reefready.

Wow...what an amazing coral. Although I know absolutely NOTHING about SPS...that is amazing. Pretty interesting 7 page read from the RC link as well with some pretty good proof of the color.

Look at the RC thread. Different people got a frag and it looks that blue under everybody's lights and with their pics. I am wanting to get a piece when my tank is ready. ;)

he uses 400 w reeflux on hqi, the reeflux really bring out blues in corals, but also gives a pink glow, as in the pic above,
I've got a mille that is that blue, but you need topdowns to see it
