Paly trouble?

Everything you would expect except my nitrates are almost non-existent, refugium doing its job, and calcium is slightly high, around 460-480... Pink thing has fallen off since and it looks fine. I'm guessing was just waste?

That makes a lot of sense. I was worried it was it's gut.
