Hi. Whatis the best way to to kill over grown palys on rock? Thank

Will it effect the water with the slurry? Can i just cut the head?

It likely will raise your overall alk and ca. Don't use too much at once and make sure the flow is off for at least 20 minutes while treating. I would not cut them as they have a better chance of recurring that way. Additionally, if the have palytoxins then that could prove to be an issue. This is just my experience and humble opinion. I'm certain there are others with opinions.

Thank. i think I'll do it before water change so i can take time get rid of small batch at a time.

I would try to break the rock, or use a razor blade or similar device to remove them.

I was thinking take it out but the yasha and the strimp are living underneath it, plus the risk of palytoxin lol and new born

They were small and short when i got the rock, now i need to get rid some of it to glue corals on the rock
